Made in America (Domestic is Our Way)

Providing jobs to Americans

The United States was once a leader in textile manufacturing, the mills and sewing facilities were the arteries for jobs and employment in many small communities. Now, with the majority of textile labor being sent to overseas venues for cheap labor, these towns are decimated. In North Carolina alone, over 871 textile and apparel mills have closed down and 150,000 textile jobs lost since 1996. Many textile workers cannot find employment with jobs disappearing at rapid rates in their area of expertise.

Morph & Thro feels that providing additional jobs and economic stimulus through the employment of domestic textile mills and manufacturers is a priority as well. Utilizing domestic mills and labor helps to further the competitive edge of recycled fiber and eco-conscious yarn technology while providing much needed jobs to American workers. Not only is Morph & Thro directly providing jobs to American workers, but these jobs are in areas that have been deemed economically distressed by the government.
